Who Can Use This App
This app is strictly for registered patients of Dr. Kamalpreet Singh. Only verified patients can access health logs, chat, reports, and diet plans.
Unregistered users can only book appointments, and are redirected to the official website via in-app navigation.
Information We Collect
We collect the following only from registered users, during app usage or profile setup:
Personal Details
- Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Height, Weight, Waist Size
Medical & Health Data
- Blood Sugar (fasting, post breakfast, post lunch, post dinner)
- Blood Pressure, BMI, HbA1c
- Existing health conditions
- Current medications
- Daily diet logs (what & how much was eaten)
- Weight
Files & Media
- Lab Reports (uploaded as PDF or images)
- Diet Plans (viewed as PDF)
- Chat images via camera/gallery
- Voice messages recorded and sent within the app
Communication
- 1-on-1 secure chat with the doctor
- Reports/images shared during chat
Purpose of Collecting Data
Your data is collected to:
- ✓ Allow your doctor to monitor your health records
- ✓ Let you log and track your diet, vitals, and medication
- ✓ Share/view diet plans and lab reports
- ✓ Communicate with your doctor through chat, including sending and receiving voice messages
- ✓ Display health content, recipes, and educational videos
We collect and process personal and health data based on your explicit consent during registration, and in compliance with applicable medical regulations.
Data Storage & Access
Secure Storage
All data is stored securely using Firebase Firestore & Cloud Storage.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS). Voice messages are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Limited Access
Access is limited strictly to Dr. Kamalpreet Singh and authorized app systems.
Firebase Usage
This app uses Firebase (a Google service) only for secure data storage and authentication. Firebase does not access or use your data for advertising or analytics.
Microphone Permission
The app requests microphone access to allow users to record and send voice messages to communicate with their doctor. Microphone access is only used for this purpose and is never shared with third parties.
We do NOT share your data with any third-party service or advertiser.
All messages between user and Dr. Kamalpreet Singh are encrypted and stored securely. We do not share your health data with third parties.
Data Deletion Policy
As this is a medical records system, data deletion requests are not supported.
Health records (including chat, lab reports, and logs) are stored permanently as part of your medical history with Dr. Kamalpreet Singh. This is in accordance with medical practice standards for patient history retention.
Your Rights & Transparency
- ✓ You can view and manage your data anytime through the app interface
- ✓ If you stop using the app, your data will be retained securely unless required to be removed by law
For Non-Registered Users
You may only access a booking screen that redirects you to the Dr. Kamalpreet Singh official website.
No health features or data collection occurs for non-registered users.
Children's Privacy
This app is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it as required by applicable law.
The app is strictly for use by adult patients who are under the care of Dr. Kamalpreet Singh.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy in the future. Any changes will be reflected in this document with an updated effective date.
